It is no coincidence that the interior design project for Palazzo Tal\u00eca was entrusted to the studio of Luca<\/strong> Guadagnino<\/strong>, Oscar winner<\/strong> for \u201cCall Me by Your Name\u201d<\/em>, who created timeless and highly elegant environments that blend perfectly with the heritage of the place.<\/p>\n\n\n We want to carry on the history of such a significant place with a great sense of responsibility, for this reason we have taken care of every little detail, imagining it as a cradle of the arts and a center of international sociality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n (Federici family)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n The chef<\/strong> is Marco Coppola<\/strong>, originally from the Sorrento Peninsula and Roman by adoption, already well known for Casa Coppola <\/em>in Trevignano Romano, who here combines his experiences in a Grand Tour of flavors that starts from the excellence of Campania products and merges with the typical dishes of the Roman Dolce Vita<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Great attention is given to the raw materials, partly farm-to-table<\/strong> and coming from the biodynamic Azienda<\/em> Agricola Boccea<\/em> of \u200b\u200bthe Federici family. The wine list<\/strong> is, in fact, curated by Elia Federici<\/strong> himself and presents an impressive assortment of national and international wines.<\/p>\n\n\n The menu<\/strong> opens with a large selection of oysters and raw fish, continues with the excellent dry pasta from the Donnarumma pasta factory in Gragnano and the fresh homemade pasta, with tasty dishes such as Spaghetti<\/em> with clams and Piennolo<\/em> tomatoes from Vesuvius or Lemon risotto. There is a great variety of second courses of fish and meat, such as Scampi cooked in salt or Thermidor style with side dish of the day or Millefoglie of seared beef fillet with crispy potatoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Before dinner, an aperitif<\/strong> is a must at the Bar della Musa<\/strong>, inspired by Tal\u00eca, the Muse of Comedy who also gives her name to the hotel that hosts it, characterized by a large marble counter and original walls made of small mirrors<\/strong> interspersed with colored buttons that reflect the beautiful ceiling.<\/p>\n\n\n Its particular frescoes<\/strong>, called Grottesche<\/em>, are copies of the 17th century that were inspired by the discovery, in the Renaissance era, of the decorations of the caves that house the ruins of Nero’s Domus Aurea<\/strong>, which also influenced the famous painter Raphael for his works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here, the bar manager Dario Araneo<\/strong> will delight you from aperitif to after dinner with excellent cocktails<\/strong>, with many menu formulas such as the Oyster Happy Hour <\/em>that offers fresh oysters paired with Gin Tonic or the house Martini.<\/p>\n\n\n The food choice is also varied, in close collaboration with the kitchens of the Tramae restaurant, with dishes such as club sandwiches and salads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Following the vision of the Federici family that sees Palazzo Tal\u00eca as a hub of social life in Rome, the Tramae Restaurant and the Bar della Musa are also the scene of many events<\/strong> and initiatives<\/strong>, such as the convenient business lunch formula, the Sunday brunch<\/strong>, or bookable experiences<\/strong> such as the workshop<\/strong> dedicated to mixology.<\/p>\n\n\n Certainly among the most beautiful addresses in Rome, already becoming a timeless classic <\/strong>just a few months after opening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For a period, the Collegio del Nazereno was also home to the Liceo Classico attended by the Roman upper middle class, with many famous former students such as Dario Argento, Christian De Sica, Carlo Verdone.
